REGISTRATION STEPS

ALL STEPS NEED TO BE COMPLETED TO BE CLEARED TO PARTICIPATE ON THE FIRST DAY OF TRYOUTS

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and sign up for participation. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

STEP 1) REGISTER ON THIS SITE

STEP 2) COMPLETE PAYMENT ONLINE VIA MY SCHOOL BUCKS (LINK AT THE END OF EACH REGISTRATIONMUST DO THIS AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. IT IS A HIDDEN LINK AND CAN'T BE FOUND IN MY SCHOOL BUCKS **NO CHECKS**

STEP 3) TURN IN PHYSICAL FORM TO ATHLETIC'S OFFICE OR HAVE CURRENT PHYSICAL ON FILE (you can email a copy to alvitry@dcsdk12.org)

Step 4) New CHSAA Requirement:  STUDENTS ONLY (Parents you DO NOT need an account, click SKIP when it asks to link accounts) If you participated in a Fall, Winter, Spring sport in 2018-2019 and have already created CHSAA Digital Platform account you DO NOT need to create another account.

Student Athletes MUST create an account with CHSAA using one of the following methods:

  • Text S41320  to 69274.  You will then receive a text reply with a link to create an account.  If you are a Co-Op athlete please make sure you choose Mountain Vista as your second school. 
  • Create an account at www.planeths.com from any desktop, laptop, tablet, iPad, or smartphone.  

Transfer Students: If the student has transferred from another school in the past 12 months, please see the Athletic Director or Athletic Secretary for further instructions.

Within two weeks of tryouts, if an athlete chooses not to continue participating in his/her sport, a full or partial refund MAY be given, depending upon the athlete’s situation.  Athletes that are cut from their sport; after the Athletics Office receives verification from the coach will receive a full refund of the athletic participation fee.  There will be absolutely NO REFUNDS after the first contest.

 **Some sports may require an additional payment for team-associated fees. These fees are IN ADDITION to the DCSD Participation Fee of $185.00**

Important Information for Homeschooled, Charter or Private School Students

All students homeschooled, or enrolled in a private or charter school who wish to participate in an MVHS athletic team MUST complete paperwork to register as a Mountain Vista student for the purpose of extracurricular activities.  You will not be able to register for Mountain Vista sports until this paperwork has been completed and processed by the MVHS Registrar. Please contact Dara Harget at dara.harget@dcsdk12.org to enroll. 


Fall registration 

Late registration will be Wednesday, Aug. 7th and Close Friday, Aug. 9th at 3 p.m.

If you are not registered by August 9th you will be unable to attend tryouts on August 12th. If you still want to register after August 9th please send an email to alvitry@dcsdk12.org and I  will send you the link on Tuesday, August 13th.
